RPM TV Schedule Ep367 – 28 September 2016. BMW M4 GTS. New Renault Mégane. Volvo S60 Polestar. Mini Cooper Clubman

Now in its fourth generation, the new Renault Mégane promises space, style and innovation. As we found out Red Star Raceway, it’s also pretty good in dynamic terms. In fact, this could well be the best Mégane generation yet …

Last year, Volvo debuted a performance-focused version of the S60 sedan under its Polestar banner. Now, there’s an updated Volvo S60 Polestar with an all-new drivetrain. A trip to quiet roads and scenic vistas of Clarens gave us a chance put the swift Swede through its paces.

Talking of swift, the BMW M4 GTS is not only a hard-core performance car, but also an exclusive one: only 700 will be built, and only 23 have been allocated to South Africa. Btu once you’re carving your way through a mountain pass, the sheer thrill of driving the M4 GTS is the only thing that matters.

Finally, the all-new, more attractive and more practical Mini Cooper Clubman is the latest car to join RPM TV’s long-term test fleet. Let’s see if that 1,5-litre turbo engine is up to the task.

This week RPM TV goes out 30 minutes earlier, at 20h00, due to live soccer, but still on SuperSport 8 on Wednesday 28 September. As last-minute changes to the broadcast schedule are frequent, please check the latest transmission schedule under ‘Motorsport’ on the SuperSport website’s ‘TV’ section, or the DStv Electronic Programme Guide.

If you have a PVR decoder, set it to record the entire RPM TV series, and never miss an episode!
