RPM TV Ep372, 02 November 2016: New Kia Sportage, BMW 750 Li, Honda BR-V, Jaguar F-Pace 2.0d
The all-new Kia Sportage compact SUV links sleek lines and an upmarket interior to a choice of upgraded petrol and diesel drivetrains. We drive the all-wheel drive 2.0 CRDi turbodiesel. It may be large and opulent, but the BMW 750Li is also a fine example of the luxury car art, with stretch-out space, driver-focussed ergonomics and a treasure trove of advanced tech. In M Sport guise, it’s not exactly slow, either …
Honda calls its new BR-V an SUV, but it’s more of a people mover, complete with seven seats, decent spec and a high degree of practicality. The result is a user-friendly, versatile commuter. Finally, Jaguar’s F-Pace was one of the most eagerly awaited new model arrivals this year, and the two-litre turbodiesel model is likely to be a range favourite. Pity the weak rand has made the Jag such an expensive proposition, compared to its German rivals.
