Our second show of the new season kicks off with a drive of the sleek and innovative Volvo S90 sedan. The Swedish saloon is also stylish and safe, with an XC90-inspired cabin – which is a very good thing. We test the turbodiesel-powered S90 Inscription.

The Mazda BT-50 is a close relative of the hugely popular Ford Ranger. Even so, it has not been able to emulate the Ford’s success. A package of exterior and interior updates has created a much more pleasing machine.

The Mercedes-Benz S 500e combines the space and luxury of one of the world’s top large, luxury sedans with cutting-edge hybrid technology. But does the combination convince in pure, ‘green’ motoring terms?

Finally, we have an update on our long-term Mini Cooper Clubman, which will soon be heading off for a service at a local dealership. Meanwhile our news coverage includes items on the just launched Audi Q2, and the BMW 760Li xDrive.

This week, RPM premieres in it’s usual time slot at 20h30 on SuperSport 8 on Wednesday 01 March.
