RPM TV Ep 380: Porsche 911 Carrera GTS. Mitsubishi Triton. Hyundai Creta. And Audi Q3 long-term update.

RPM TV Ep 380: Porsche 911 Carrera GTS. Mitsubishi Triton. Hyundai Creta. And Audi Q3 long-term update.
Deon Schoeman

Porsche’s 911 Carrera GTS is considered a purist driving machine. The latest version swaps a normally aspirated flat six for a smaller, bi-turbo engine. We drive the controversial newcomer in the Western Cape.

It’s been quite a wait, but the all-new Mitsubishi Triton double cab has finally been launched on local soil. An all-new turbodiesel engine and competent underpinnings ensure that this latest leisure 4×4 is right up there with the best.

With demand for small SUVs growing rapidly, the arrival of the Hyundai Creta should come as no surprise. Considerably smaller than its Tucson stablemate, it’s also significantly more affordable – which should make for strong demand.

Finally, we have an update on the progress of our Audi Q3 1.4 TFSI long-term car. And in our news coverage, we report on a new Alfa-Romeo SUV, and the local debut of a completely new
BMW 5-Series.

This week’s show premieres in it’s usual time slot at 20h30 on SuperSport 8 on Wednesday 08 March. As last-minute changes to the broadcast schedule are frequent, please check the latest transmission schedule under ‘Motorsport’ on the SuperSport website’s ‘TV’ section, or the DStv Electronic Programme Guide.
