RPM TV Ep 386: Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0T and QV. Audi A5 2.0 TDI Coupé. Mercedes-Benz GLC250 Coupé
Alfa Romeo is on the comeback trail. The Italian marque has launched the all-new Giulia premium compact sedan to much acclaim and will soon follow up with the equally new Stelvio SUV. This week, we have a tale of two Alfa Romeo Giulias: the pragmatic but talented Giulia 2.0T Super, and the snarling, tyre-ripping Giulia 2.9 QV. It’s a family feud with an unexpected result.
Another completely new arrival to our shores is the elegant, athletic, second-generation Audi A5 Coupé. The two-door remains strong on presence and aspiration, with an interior execution to match. We drive the 2.0 TDI Tiptronic version.
And staying with the new hardware, the Mercedes-Benz GLC250 Coupé seeks to mix sports car glamour with SUV-style space and practicality – at a significant premium. Is the exclusivity and on-road presence worth the extra dosh?
